Why I ship components as source, not packages
The trade-offs behind Vinyaas's copy-in model, and when a package is still the better choice.
Most component libraries ship as packages. That is great until you need to change one.
Ownership over abstraction
Copying source means every component is just a file you can edit. There is no override API to learn.
The cost
Upgrades become explicit: vinyaas update refreshes a component from the registry, overwriting local edits only after you confirm.
